Wedgewood Golf Course

“(Leaving two stars because I have played before under decent conditions.) This morning, on a Friday at 11:44, I played a round of golf with my brother and nephew. Wedgwood has stacked tee times at an 8 minute interval, which makes sense if you have all three 9 hole courses available (which they didn’t because of a tournament) I understand the concept of “play bad play fast” but my nephew is 12 and today was meant to be a leisurely round with family. The starters were pushy, the people behind us were pushy, and it kind of killed the day. In a 4-4.5 hour round it takes 12-15 minutes to finish each hole. We were 10 minutes in just off the second tee box and were already getting shit. The people in front of us were just finishing up the hole when we made it to our second shot. -If you want to play a fast round don’t book a late morning round. -If you have a problem with a 12-15 minute hole finish time, don’t book a late morning round. - if you are too impatient for these things perhaps consider joining a country club. The whole round we were being pushed and finished in under 4 hours. Will not be going to wedgewood again until they figure out a better system. Entirely mismanaged course and just absolutely sucks.”

“Greens are fast.. tough course!. You definitely get your moneys worth!. Beautiful laid out course.. this was my first time playing here. Definitely planning on hitting the range before, next time I get out. Update: went back when it was hot and sunny!. Rained the day before so greens were slow to start the day and then rolled PERFECTLY as the day went on. Bevcart girl kept me stocked with ice and bevs!. Fairways were primo!. Shot an 82 with 2 birds.. lovely day!. Highly recommended course!.”

“Overall, the course was in great condition. The greens were rolling faster than usual, which I really admired. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be launching 300-yard drives. The staff was awesome, the bartender pours drinks just right, and I had one of the best Transfusions I’ve ever had. The cart girl was extremely reliable and kept the drinks ice cold. She was even nice enough to even let me teach her how to swing a golf club. Looking forward to coming back.”
