“My wife and I have been on the hunt for a great Italian restaurant after our favorite one closed a few years ago, so we made reservations and made the trip to Hellertown to try them out. A plus that they are BYOB as well so we arrived with a bottle of wine in hand. We were greeted promptly upon entering and giving our name, it was only a few minutes until we were sat and got comfortable at our table. Bella was our waitress and she was excellent, knowledgable about the menu and gave her input. We started with the fried calamari which was breaded perfectly, it was probably the best fried calamari we have had. My wife got the chicken giuseppe, ate until she was full and had a large portion to take home. I had the chicken parmigiana which had great flavor and hit all the right spots. The food came out in very reasonable time based on how busy the restaurant was, we didn’t feel rushed at any point and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I’m already looking forward to our return trip!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Gold If you’re looking for authentic food, an incredible family vibe, and a staff that moves with the kind of selfless, ride-or-die solidarity usually reserved for action movies, Taste of Italy is the spot. It was absolute chaos-level busy when we went, but the team handled it like a well-oiled machine. Did the sheer volume of orders cause a slight mix-up? Yes. Was I accidentally served the octopus carpaccio instead of the Mediterranean octopus? Also yes. Was it a happy accident that turned into one of the best culinary plot twists of my life? 100%. I’m pretty sure I’m legally required to order the carpaccio every time I come back now. Minor hiccups aside, the food is phenomenal, the service is absurdly good despite the crowd, and the energy in the room makes you feel like you just got welcomed into the family kitchen. 10/10—go for the food, stay for the immaculate team dynamics, and definitely "accidentally" order the octopus carpaccio.”

“I came to PA to see a friend. He brought me to this restaurant fir a special dinner. This restaurant did not disappoint! From the moment we entered it was like you are part of the family. Meal was amazing, staff was knowledgeable about the menu and choices and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Don't miss this gem.”
